HK VP9 Owners. Anyone out there?

I bought an HK VP9 a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier. How many of you own one?

I actually got it for a really good deal. I called my local dealer to see if he had any, they had just gotten some in and were pricing them. He quoted me a price, and I put one on Layaway, because I couldn't make it out there that day.

Come to find out, he priced me for a Standard version, and mine is the one with the Tru Glo night sights!!!!!!!!

He told me when I went to pick it up that he had made a mistake, and figured I had done enough business with him over the past years to earn a 'discount'.

I've got one also. Just bought a holster from Bravo Concealment for it. Gun is great, but way too big for EDC here in Florida. I have a Shield and PPS for that.

Not really the place where people own VP9's but count me as one. Went through the academy with mine.

My brother owns one, but it's actually in my gun safe right now hehe. It's an amazing firearm. Best trigger I've ever felt in a striker-fired pistol

I bought a new one about three weeks ago; traded in a Kimber Pro Carry II in 9mm for it.

I shot the Glock 19, Ruger American, and the Walther PPS, and none of them felt the same as the H&K VP9. It also had the best trigger out of the box. The Glock was really a non-starter because the grip ergonomics are horrible.

The VP9 has run 100% reliably for over 600 rounds; both HP's and FMJ. I can easily see the sights, and I really like the combinations of side panels and back straps.

If there's a downside, it would be that I'm not convinced that it will be a CCW gun. It seems to be more of a "service" pistol. I already had a holster which fits it, so I'm going to try it out in a few weeks. Right now it's a great range pistol, and I like it as much, if not more than my M&P CORE.

H&K really hit it out of the park on this one.
