Sounds good if that is on all the M&P's. It looked like the molding or machining process was flawed or the metal itself.. 8)

Sorry about my paranoia posts. I'm still new to the M&P and just started to notice things. Here's another "flaw" I noticed. Will this be okay in the long run? Functional my gun works so far with no hiccups.

Look at where the arrow is pointing to. It looks like a tiny piece of metal around the pin hole was either chipped off or broken off. There are no rough spots but I don't want this thing cracking.

another normal thing they put that tear drop cut to help stop shaving some of the primer flow.

Thanks again Dan!! The reason I was concerned was that it wasn't an even teardrop cutout at the 6 o'clock position. It looked out of place and rough.

Dan ought to run for President. He always comes up
with the right answer and he really knows his stuff.
If not the President, at least the Governor of Pennsylvania.

His slogan could be "free trigger jobs to anyone with over 1000 posts on M&P-Pistol.com!"
