I've known this young man since he went to middle school, and now he's a Marine. We're all very proud of him. However, he needs some more range time - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=533md0GnF2E

Well...he's supposed to be guarding nuclear subs at port after the holidays.

Actually, he's a recruiter's dream - smart as heck, incredibly dedicated, and willing to do what it takes to get it done. A 'lil more gun handling time and he'll be fine.

Lets cut him some slack and say the weapons magazine catch is defective! We need more young Americans like him to take the oath and serve our country.

I won't say where this happened other than it was in North Carolina. There's a lot of men with MARINES t-shirts and haircuts like that one in this state!

One thing to consider is that he's a lefty shooting my righty M4.

I do have to say that from his stance and approach on our pistol range, he's taken his training extremely well.

You have to giggle just alittle. Lefty in a righty world and it could happen real easy. I used to shoot left handed until the M-16 changed my mind (dating myself) in basic training. It will fill your shirt full of hot brass in a heartbeat.
