That's great! I don't get more nervous around police. Should I?? I am a Hickok45 fan so that one had me busting a gut. I wonder if anybody notices that my belt is all scratched up on one side (when I am not carrying on it).

That's a great summary. I felt very self-conscious for maybe 6 months or more...now, living in a very pro-carry county, I simply don't worry about it anymore. Not to mention there's a more open carry here lately so I definitely just don't care if I 'print'. It's simply not a concern.

I just ran into my very first "No firearms allowed" situation just yesterday, at the USAA Financial Center in colorado springs. Now, here's a business founded by and managed by almost exclusively ex-military officers, yet they've chosen to take the politically correct measure of proclaiming 'NO FIREARMS". The US Air Force Academy has done the same thing. Pathetic, and very sad..but I guess not too surprising. I wish people would have a little courage, and post "Please exercise your right to defend yourself, and your duty as a person to defend others while on our property."

It really sickens me to see a military installation post signage that weapons are prohibited. Like they are pretending to be so stupid as to actually believe this will do something positive. They've simply proven they have no sense, no guts, and no concern for doing the right thing. Not too surprising to see at the USAF Academy, not like it's an 'actual' military installation.
