Wis. class (my wifes was $40) plus $40 for the permit and you're good. If you're a Vet no class required, fill out the form and $40 later you have your permit. All this is because we elected Scott Walker as governor. The Dems prior to him wouldn't even allow consideration of CCP for the people! The libs said after he passed CCW bodies would be piling up in the streets. You wouldn't even know we had CCP. Nothing has changed other than people being able to protect themselves. We're all still alive in Wis.

Honestly, it sounds like ammo induced malfunction, brush it off and rock on.

Daughter and I both have bone stock M&P 40s, its shot everything... Right now its on a steady diet of mild reloads and as long as I dont load a squib (Ive fixed that with an RCBS powder check die!), the weapon functions *100%*, zero problems.

Dont sweat it bro...

Now, if you start getting malfunctions using "regular" ammo (common knowen decent ammo) I would 1) Look at your grip... if there is too much limp writing that can very well cause a problem (Inherent in any pistol, not just S&W) or 2) You have a possible problem that will require S&W customer service... but no fears, from what Ive read they wont disappoint!

GL friend,
EB

Thanks for the feed back guys. I really did just want to vent about the issue. Since that happened I've fired over 600 rounds with no issue some steel case some aluminum and alot of brass. Works like a charm. I want to put apex parts in it but heard it wasn't advised in a carry gun? Any thoughts?

It sounds like very high tech ammo if it made a M&P malfunction. You gotta have something really special to get that to happen!

Sounds like they are possibly using the mandatory "high-tech" ammo to make a few extra bucks.

You could see oil coming out of every crevis. Almost dripping oil Between the slide and the frame. I don't know where or if he might have oiled the striker or not but like I said his ran the ammo fine. It was a canik tp9 btw
