Ok, took the test.....100% on the 11 questions. I still wonder though, if this video completes only the education aspect of the CCW process. I can't believe just watching a video qualifies one for a VA out of state resident CCW permit. I would think fingerprints would be something that would have to be done....as well as a criminal background check.

If any NC resident has gone through the non-resident process for a VA CCW permit, please chime in.

I guess this process seems almost too good to be true if it were that easy.

Here is a link to one for under $20. I did not take it to see what it is about.

Concealed Handgun Permit Firearms Safety Class - Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit

Here is the one you asked about.
Get Certified | Virginia Concealed

If you are a veteran you can use your DD214 instead of taking a course.

I HAVE NOT SUBMITTED EITHER OF THESE SITE'S CERTIFICICATES AND CANNOT VERIFY IF THEY ARE ACCEPTED. Before taking either of them you might call the VA state police and make sure. I called them and left a message and a nice lady called me back on her way home that day.

Sucks for me as I travel up the east coast quite a bit. NE NC is looking more and more an option to move to...

Its also worth noting that if you have ever taken a hunter safety course, and kept the proof of taking it (i.e. a certificate), then that will also be good enough to get a concealed license. Something I found out after the fact when taking my course.

This is just the certificate, you still have to fill out an application, provide fingerprints, etc. You can order an application kit

As a VA resident... Im sorry. Im hanging my head low in response to the demtards actions. VA has always been a Golden Gun State, like a flagship.

Good news I just read, NRA and GOA is about to take some type of action, lets wish for the best... monitoring this condition.

EB
