Burwell v. APEX

let me start by saying I absolutely love my Burwell trigger job for my Competition Production gun. It cant be beat.
I just picked up a backup 9L and I want to be just as good, if not exact. Right now, it seems to "break" a little hard. It came with a APEX kit installed. I am no gunsmith, but I have looked at the Burwell power point and it looks like the only difference in the two is he polishes the trigger bar. If I do this, will that help the trigger? What else can, should be done?

I am asking these questions here first, if I need to send it to Mr. Burwell, I will. Like I said, I am looking for as good a replication as I can get.

Thanks,
Dub

The PowerPoint hosted on Dan's site is actually not the method he uses to do triggers himself....it's just a method that will work and do a pretty nice job. You won't be able to duplicate his results by following the PP....he's probably not crazy enough to post something that would let you do that!

Dan is a super nice guy who does great work, and if you're happy with the trigger on your primary gun, sending him the backup is the best way to go.

From what I've seen the last few years,he is no longer in business since emails are not answered and phone not answered.
Makes original question moot.
