IDPA SSS CDP magwell issues...

Anyone in here have had problem with their SSS CDP Magwell for M&P .45ACP. The way the magwell installs on to the pistol is there is a recess on the front magwell that the bottom front of the pistol goes into. Then the back part of the magwell goes up flush with the modified grip retainer then a pin goes through the magwell then grip retainer then back to the magwell. I hope I haven't lost any one.
So my issue is when I do a reload not sure how it does it. The front of the magwell pops down causing it to be lose. Does anyone have had this issue and how did you fix it. Please I need this fixed by friday because I need it to shoot a match this saturday. Thank you

Sounds like you may need to change your mag bases to run that mag well.

If the new mag well isn't allowing your stock mag bases to seat fully, you probably need to get matching bases.

It's very common with 1911's. When someone adds a magwell, they need to put extended base pads on their flush fitting mags so they can easily seat them with the magwell in place.

I don't really know what an add on magwell is doing for you on an M&P anyway; with the double stack mag opening in the grip being so large to begin with.
