Probably a Surefire X series as the "push forward" activation method works on either side of the rocker switch.

Does anyone know if the XTI procyon/WX150 would fit on the 40c?

I have been looking at a streamlight TLR-1 to mount on my 45 fs. Dose anyone have any input on these or the surefire? Thanks!
For those who don't know. The TLR1s with cree 4 technology comes with a strobe feature and a 160 lumens. I have a Procyon for my 45fs and will be getting the TLR1s for my M&P 357fs. It is readily a lot cheaper. Here are the links to the two places I use. I recommend Cop Quest first because their turnaround is faster. The shipping is free for this item right now making it almost the same price as what it will cost from the other place.

I am running an M&P .45 and a TLR-1 on duty right now. Great light great combo. I spent about $99.99 on mine for about $10 you can get the strobe feature if needed. Works great and adds just enough weight to the front to make it recoil a bit less then the 9mm longslide I have.

Good luck in your search.

I have a Surefire 200x with a DG switch mounted on my 45fs and am happy with its funtion. I grip the pistol firmly but not so much pressure as to activate the light. All you have to do to activate the light is apply a firmer grip. Very quick to switch on & off.

Bear in mind, strobes work both ways, and there are plenty of people out there that strobes don't affect at all.

It could be said it's common logic. You don't see everyone on the road going into seures everytime an ambulance or police officer passes with strobes on.

That's what I went with as well (tlr-1s) no realy for the strobe but it's a few lumens brighter than the tlr-1.

Im using the TLR-1s and couldnt be happier. Runs like a champ. Strobe and price was my reasons for buying this one. I like the looks of the new wx-150 but by the time mine craps out they will probably have a wx -950.

I like my streamlight tlr 1s. It is the best of the two I have tried. I do want to check out the Veridian x5l. However, I thaven't had the money to buy it. I have had the tlr 1s now for a year and the insight procyon for a year and the half. even though the streamlight is a little longer. try http://www.copquest.com/10-6800.htm they have free shipping.
