Not sure if it was previously stated, but DPD uses the M&P40. The same gun that stopped this attacker.

I am certainly sorry to hear about this attack but I am still looking for all that "Heroism".
The fact that one shoots back when shot at somehow fails to equal Hero to me.
Situational awareness was severely lacking especialy for a police station IMHO.
What I take from this video is how complacent the front desk crew was.

TOF, the media is quick to use the word 'Hero' in situations like this. I call our veterans who went through hell for our liberty Heros and it's a hard tital to receive IMO. It's when you put yourself in harm's way to save OTHERS. What the officer/s did in this situation was an outstanding example of will to survive and never giving up in the face of a very scary and surreal attack. Great Job DPD.

Thumbs up Good Job DPD

This is how it should always end for demented people going berserk with firearms!!! No trial, no sentence, no prison time, no execution, no cost to tax payers except a cheap funeral!!!

Of course, I'm sure that this guy purchased that shotgun legally, he was not mentally ill, was not an illegal alien, had not renouced his U.S. citizenship, was never convicted of a felony, had never been charged with a crime of domestic violence, he was not addicted to drugs, he was never discharged dishonorable from the military, he was the actual purchaser of the firearm, he did not advocate the violent overthrow of the U.S. government, but he was abused when he was a child. He played ultra violent video games. He watched ultra violent movies. He tortured animals as a child. He listened to rap music. Last, but not least, he was a newly converted Muslim!!! Allah Akbar!!

I don't understand why such a wonderful citizen could not purchase or steal a military-type AR-15 assault weapon with high capacity magazines!! You ain't representing the hood very well pal!! No style at all!!!
