M&P Pro 5": Test of various bullet weights at 25 yards.

I have a new M&P Pro 5", made in June of 2015, with an Apex 3lb competition trigger kit installed. I did an extensive, two day test of various ammunition, off a sandbag, at 25 yards, to establish which type had the smallest groups and fewest flyers. At first, I wasn't happy with any of them, though the American Eagle did the best with no flyers and 5" groups.
I had tried several factory and reloaded 115 and 124 grain FMJ and had lots of flyers, which opened the groups to over 6" (or more).
I read up on various problems others encountered and how they corrected them. I took a Dremel pointed stone and used it BY HAND, to chamfer the crown, which had none (all my older M&P's had this). I then used a bullet shaped buffer and my Dremel, to polish the chamfer with valve lapping compound.
Back to the range, all the previous lighter bullets still gave flyers, but slightly smaller groups. The American Eagle 147 grain gave 2.5-4" groups.
This is acceptable to me, as I shoot IDPA and if there's a miss, I want it to be me, not the gun.

Here's a 25 yard group I shot with my 5" CORE a while back, not the greatest but arthritis has made it a lot harder for me to shoot accurately, the red dot took care of sighting errors but can't help with the arthritis.
