Suggestions for fiber optic sights
I have a Midsize M&P 45 and looking for recommendations on a Fiber Optic sights. Also are they available in different colors? With laser, I can't see the red but green is a beautiful site. Are there Green Fiber Optics, I don't know.
Thanks in advance,

TruGlo as well as Dawson Precision and others make fiber optic sights for the M&P. I got some Dawson's for my M&P22 and was impressed both with their construction and with the fact that Dawson shipped them with extra pieces of red and green fiber.

Check out Truglo tritium/fiber optics -- TG131MPT (green). I don't know whether the deal still exists, but dunnssportnggoods on ebay had them with the bid startng at $30. I read about them in a post from basstracker17 and picked up a set for $31. They really are the best combo I have seen -- tritium for low light or dark, and bright green in daylight with the fiber optics.

Dawson is what I use on my 45. If you have a hard time seeing certain colors you need a sight in which the color may be changed. Tritium-Fiber sights are fixed where Dawson and some others allow the fiber to be changed by end user. Fiber is available in many colors for very little cost.

I use the Dawson Precision sights on my M&P. Their front sight comes in different widths plus their rods are .040" in dia. vs. .060 that others use. I find that .040 is plenty bright for me especially when using the green insert.

I put an Ameriglo fiber optic front on mine in red(they have green too). I have a plain black Ameriglo rear sight with a "U-notch". I actually used them for the first time yesterday in an IDPA match and loved them. I really like the FO front/plain black rear combo. Feel like I was able to pick up the front sight really quick with nothing on the rear to distract me. I like the way the U-shaped notch looks and lines up with the front sight too. I was able to shoot accurately & relatively fast(for me anyway), so I am super happy with them so far.
