Defensive loads for the 9c.

Those of you that have the 9c. What loads are you carrying for defensive purposes. Brand and weight. Im just trying to get a feel of what everyone carrys in their pet pistol. Right now I use 115gr hornady critical defense. And Im thinking of switching to 124gr golden sabres. Any particular brands work well out of your pistols. Thanks and stay safe.

From Critical Defense to Golden Sabers? You'd be much better using any one of the three choices listed before mine.

I carry the same. Though, in my full size. I am looking for a M&P9c currently. Not easy to find around me.

I would proffer a nice bench test of various rounds you're thinking about.
1) which one is the most accurate.
2) make sure a round type doesn't create FTFs or other jams.

Each pistol is different. Part of that difference is a slight preference for different ammo types.

Interestingly, I use a 115 grain Hornady as well, as my pistol occasionally fails to go into full battery with the 124 golden sabres, which my wife uses in her Beretta and are excellent (I used GS's in a .45 as well). I've heard good things about them so mine is pistol specific. Also heard good things about Gold Dots and other rounds mentioned here already.

Frankly, if it meets the two criteria above, I don't think you can go wrong.
