I am looking for an IWB holster and have become confused with quantity of reviews online and on youtube. I was thinking either Alien gear or N82 tactical. Has anyone had experience with either on of them? Thanks in advance for any help

I have an alien gear for my shield and i like it. It's comfortable and for the price you can't beat it. I also wear a galco (same style hybrid) for my xdm compact and S&W 9C. In comparison the galco is much nicer but you also pay about $30 more. If you want to try something out, I would go with the alien gear because of the price point and you can see if you like it and want to upgrade later.

Being an owner of a 9c AND an Aliengear holster, I wish I had not spent that $35 and saved if for a nicer holster. It does get the job done, but it is extremely thick and is not of the highest quality. However, it was a cheap way to find out if I liked carrying IWB at 4 o'clock.

If you're unsure about whether you will like carrying that way or not, I'd say go for it since it won't set you back an arm and a leg. If you know that's the way that you want to carry, I'd buy something a little thinner and of a higher quality.

EXACTLY. I still don't understand how people can say alien gear is a good brand. Like the old saying, "You get what you pay for!"

To the OP: If you don't care about quality and want something that'll work fine: white hat, crossbreed supertuck, alien gear, etc. Any idiot can make a kydex holster. In the end it doesn't matter.

Judging by your indecisiveness though, I'm guessing(if you're like me) you're picky about what you want? In that case: Comptac MTAC, Hiddenhybrid holsters, and other top notch leather companies but their lead times are usually very long.

While I fear I'm adding to the laundry list, I've got a Crossbreed Super Tuck and a locally made Hooligan kydex. I use both, like them as much as you can like an IWB.

More choices. My current favorite is the SHTF Gear Holster. Compact size and no extra leather on the bottom of the sweat shield. The Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC Holster is a veryclose second but cost more and the warranty is only for one year. You will probably end up like most of us buying several before you find the right one. I have found that I like the smaller (less spacing between the clips) better then the wider ones. The Little FoxX is also a very comfortable holster, I prefer it to their regular FoxX.

Save money I keep my shield in a large white envelope.
Only kidding every one has a different favorite.
I have an N28 iwb fits well.
One clip securely holds the holster to your belt
What ever u get see if u can return it.
Or like most of us u will wind up with more holsters then guns.:yes

Congrats on the holster!

I just ordered the bravo Concealment RTT light bearing holster for my MP9c/ TLR3 so that I can carry IWB or OWB. I thought it to be a great price for all that you get.

Lets us know how your holster wears, I might consider one down the road.
