I just came across this Chart while surfing the InterWebs. Some dude put this together. While I love that M&Ps are up top, I totally disagree with CZs at the bottom.
All this CC gun talk is kinda goofy. I'm just new to it. I grew up shooting shotguns, hunting etc. After getting some nice pheasants or Ducks, whatever. We would shoot some pistols out back while grilling burgers etc.
nobody would Ever carry a pistol in the 80s-90s-2000s.
I shot an Uzi and an AR after hunting. What changed?

I've been carrying a pistol (revolver) for self-protection since 1983, ever since I got home from working in Israel (living and working in Israel can change your perspective on self-preservation). I carry every day--WHY--because living in an urban setting teaches you that there are bad people who like to do bad things to innocent people. I don't make a big deal about my EDC, don't talk about, don't show-and-tell, just go about my business quietly, respectfully, but prepared... :smoke:
by the way, the majority of those I hang with have been "packing" since the late 70's...
Presently I'm connected with Law Enforcement and I live within a State that allows for open carry, and you don't need a CCP to open carry or to buy a handgun. You only need a CCP if you intend to carry concealed...life is good living in a State that follows the Constitution... :yes
I worked in Israel for three months for a US based company back in the day, I showed up when war broke out against Lebanon in 2/83...my first look at war...
Where can this chart be found on "the Interwebs?" I would like to know more about the context, reasoning, criteria, purpose behind it, etc.
Observations:
* What is the explanation of the Green, Yellow, Red, grading (shading)?
* It is is interesting that it is described by the OP as a "CC Gun Chart" yet only seven of the thirty-two listed have a capacity of less than 12+1. A lot of these are full-size weapons.
* No caliber(s) are listed as part of the data.
* This seems like years old information, maybe?
* How can it be the the M&P Shield is not on this list but the Taurus 709 and the Ruger LC9 (not LC9s) are?
....My (once-over-lightly) $.02
