Selling a F/S9 to get a compact 9?'s

I have a 2008 police trade-in m&p9 full size with new ameriglo bowie night sights and the duty apex full kit. While i like the gun and it shoots great( love the trigger now) it's just alittle to big to carry. I was thinking about ordering a m&p9 compact and putting all those parts in it and carry it some. I have 2- G19's a CZ (ordered) P-01 and a G43 i also carry. Just really don't need any guns that i won't carry once in a while. Anyone sold a F/S to get a compact?
Thanks

I had been on the fence about selling my full size .40. I EDC a SHield 9mm and
shoot it much more accurately (and comfortably) than the FS .40, but I grabbed Storm Lake conversion
barrel out of the classifieds here last week and a couple of FS 9mm mags online and took it to the range today.
I still can't get over how much more enjoyable this thing is too shoot as a 9mm. and it shot so much more
accurately (well I did). I think I am going to shoot out the remaining .40 rounds I have left and just use it as a 9mm.
I was going to sell it it and maybe grab a 9C or a Sig P320C , but now it's a joy to shoot, I think I'll keep it as a range/HD gun.
I may still get one of the others I mentioned (or the Shield .45) but I'm going to keep this one now.
It is a little big for an EDC but I can carry it easily here in the Winter OWB.

Its hard to beat the 9c in terms of versatility. Shoots nice, carries nice and easily adapts to the higher capacity for property defense.

The 9c and the 45c are my favorite M&P pistols. They just seem to hit a sweet spot for a variety of applications.

Well, since I shoot USPSA action pistol I would never sell my FS comp' gun. But I did buy a 9c for carry.

I would rethink the idea of putting anything other than an Apex duty/carry kit in a gun for carry; or stay with the factory trigger. Yeah, I know everyone who has done so gets indignant when I write that, but accidents do happen when the adrenalin flows and a too light trigger can lead to an AD and major problems. In a comp' gun a light trigger is fine, but for EDC one really wants a bit heavier trigger. Smoothing it up, and such as that, is fine to give better control.
