Hi guys.
Im thinking about my first .45. I've read many good review about the m&p 45 and how well it manage the recoil (i know it is subjetive) . But has anyone compared it to the glock 21 gen4 with its dual recoil spring?
M&p all the way! I am new as well, I was on the same boat as you for about a year. i have been going between to 2 everyday in deciding what i want. I finally chose the m&p because the grip/handle fits a lot better than the 21sf. That means better control. I am Asian, so I am a small guy about 5'5, 170lbs. My wife shoots the m&p too and she is 5'2. Hope this helps.
I have Glock Gen 2's that I like (they don't have the finger grooves). I bought my first M&P back in in 2007 and fell in love. I have 9 M&P's in various calibers now. For me, the ergonomics on the M&P are much better. I can't tell much difference in felt recoil between my FS Glock and my FS M&P (both are in 45). I shoot my M&P P better. It's really a matter of personal choice.
Interesting. see I like the Glocks gen 3 finger grooves as it locks my hand on the gun. Right now Im not getting that feeling with the M&P! Even with the Talon grip on it. Thinking of getting a Hogue grip for it
Lol. I was just letting him know that I am a small person. It is hard for me to get a good grip on the 21sf. I like the interchangeable back straps on the M&p if you have small hands
Yes, most definitely. Grandfather was a Colonel in the Army and was the only reason why we could come to the states in the first place. I was 6months old when I moved to Houston.
