As a long time M&P fan (carry gun is a 9c and IPDA gun is an Apexed-up pro) I was happy to get my hands on the new ported CORE at a gun show this weekend in Virginia. My plan was to buy it and add the optic for steel target shoots.

Happy until I felt the trigger and had to think "REALLY?"

Okay pull and break but zero reset. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

What are you guys doing there? How do you turn out a "pro" gun that still doesn't have a trigger worth a darn? Why do you think it's okay to present a top-shelf (supposedly) firearm to the public that still doesn't fix the most glaring problem in your product line?

Frustrated. Certainly didn't buy that ported CORE. Ugh.

Same here my regular FS9 has a great reset that's audible and you can feel with your finger. My ported pro can't hear or feel anything.

Pros apparently don't need felt reset, the fastest ones don't have time to wait to feel reset as they are slapping the trigger too damn fast to notice.

It's more of a thing I notice when at the house dry firing it. I didn't notice it all when shooting it last weekend. Didn't think about it and it caused me no issues. Although I'm still thinking about pulling the FSS outta my 9c and putting it in the ported.

I bought a Pro Series Long Slide CORE recently, and I am disappointed in the trigger, it will be getting some trigger work soon, however, the reset is much more distinct than my older full size, so they have improved the reset, even if the rest of the trigger system like the sear, still need some work.
