Got my CORE 9L tossing cast bullets real well now. Was working on my draw today and was really enjoying it. I'm slow but starting to feel real confident in my setup. Cast bullets through this KKM barrel are doing well. Smoking a bit as expected but starting to get powder coated rounds into the mix which are much cleaner. The lube grime isn't bad though with Fireclean applied ahead of time. Really any CLP type lube prior to shooting and the pistol wipes clean pretty easy. Minor leading if any. Again, the powder coating will take care of that. Anyways, just wanted to jump on here and encourage those dedicated lead heads or those who are interested.
There are variances in the machine marks from the rifling process, a rougher bore is going to hold onto more lead, the smoother more polished bore will be more resistant to retaining lead.
