It looks just like it's dad of another color who I have in my safe! They're so cute when they're first out of the box!

Congrats on the new member to the family!

Love the pistol, hate the thumb safety. It's coming off as soon as S&W sends me the frame inserts.

I always thought the TS was ungodly big and obtrusive.
Wonder why SW made it so hideous.
I have an eye for a full size M&P soon
Nice looking firearm.

Just an FYI that might help reduce the cussing on reassembly. Remember to remove the little chunk of metal with the spring on the non-ejection port side of the Sear Housing Block. This piece is only needed when the safety is in the M&P.

Link to process:
The proper way to remove & plug thumb safety

Have fun and be safe!

Are the safeties high enough to where we can ride them while shooting similar to a 1911

Yes the safety is high enough to feel with your thumb if it's on or off. All my CCW and home defense pistols have no safeties so I'm not concerned about a safety if I ever find myself in a high stress situation. Currently I'm using my M2.0 5" for IDPA, when drawing from my holster I do feel with my thumb if the safety is off. I'm surprised how many times I find the safety on. As I mentioned the safety is coming off as soon as I receive the frame inserts from S&W.

SS 396 Welcome to the forum. I'm also new to this site and being an X Glock fan I'm new to the M&P line of GREAT shooting pistols. A lot of good information and people willing to help. Did you find a holster for your M2.0 5"?

USMC 1963, Thank you for the welcome, i have not got a holster for it yet but i tried the Galco OWB holster for my Glock 21 and it fits perfect. The Galco IWB also fit but i will buy the correct one in a week or two. The more i shoot it the more i like it.

1963 was the year i was born, Thank You for serving our great Country, and enjoy that M&P
