Pro CORE mounting a red dot

So I have a m&P 9 ported Pro CORE and a Burris FastFire 3 what mount do I use Also have a Pro CORE ported 40 would it use the same mount? Is there any way to have it so I can switch between pistols and not loose POI? Neither pistol came with any mounts { new to me lightly used } Thanks

Can't help with the .40 mount question, but I'd be very surprised if the mount was different between the guns.

IMO it would be by the wildest of chances that you could switch one sight between 2 guns and have it shoot to the same POI. But maybe. Stranger things have happened. Let us know if it works for you.

I would call S&W and get them to help you. You'll need to call them anyway to get the right (2nd) mount plate. You probably want to keep calling until you get someone to pick up from the Performance Center. The ladies who pick up don't know squat and will want you to return the gun to them, at least that's what I've found over the most minor stuff. Just keep calling until you get the right person. Or maybe ask to be connected to the PC. The folks at the PC just send stuff out for free. They might ask for the serial number to see if it's really a PC CORE. They want us to be happy with our PC guns, at least that's been my experience.

They use the same mount and screws, as I recall that's the #5 mount. Its very doubtful that the zero would be the same on two different pistols, IMHO you will probably have to re zero anytime its moved between the pistols, how much difference between the two is anybodies guess.
