Pro Series 9 Trigger parts in my FS9

Today I am going to remove the factory trigger components in my Pro 9mm and install the Apex FSS kit.

I would like to install the Pro trigger components in my Full Size 9mm with thumb safety. I am not sure if the pro sear will be compatible with my thumb safety version of my full size 9mm. I do intend to run a USB in the FS9 with pro components to basically replicate the pro trigger "feel" in my FS gun.

Also, my FS 9mm already has the Apex DCAEK that I am planning to remove (and possibly install in my Shield 9mm at a later date) Should I re-use any of the apex parts or simply remove apex parts and install the pro stuff?

I don't care for the mushy reset on the apex kit and the long pre-travel, but the lightened trigger pull is nice.

Any help would be appreciated.

I put my pro series sear in my FS. everything else is tock except I rounded the block and shortened its spring. has a nice 4.5# trigger now. i have found that reset is mostly influenced by the strength of the trigger spring.

Well the FSS kit installed without a hitch today. I had to adjust the trigger bar a bit, but it was really pretty good out of the package.

Instead of installing the pro sear in my FS I did a little trigger bar work and swapped the DCAEK trigger spring out for the stock spring. The trigger bar helped my pretravel and the lighter spring helped change the way the "reset" feels. Over all I am happy with how both trigger came out.
