Mine are all M&P40s, so we're using 9mm conversion barrels.

What is it you're hoping to accomplish?

Some aftermarket "Match" barrels may be a tiny bit more accurate than the factory barrel, but if you're not shooting 2" or better groups at 25 yards you'll likely never see the difference. The M&P9 early unlocking issue is about the only exception, so if a shooter with some actual experienced (not someone looking to buy more accuracy) can't keep a 6" group with an M&P9, an aftermarket barrel might help.

I've been running two, one in an M&P9, the other in a 9c, since last October.

Both pistols shoot very well, but I didn't do any comparision between the stock barrels and the W/C ones. I just put in the new barrels and started shooting.

Couldn't be happier with them.

With the problems I've heard about with M&P's having barrel quality and accuracy issues (not that my particular firearm thus far has had issues, although I only have 3,500 rounds through it) I do shoot on a fairly regular basis for the $160 seems like it might be a decent investment to possibly prevent problems that could occur down the road. Im not looking to "buy accuracy" I shoot steel targets not bulls eye!

Does WC actually make these barrels or are they outsourced?

Prolly Storm Lake. Glock 40's fact bl not fully supported. The Wilson is. I cannot think of one single reason why I would want to spend half the cost of another pistol on something I did not need? I know,,sorry for being a horses,,rear

Wilson barrel.

I put one in my VTac and it is excellent at shooting where it is pointed. It was thrilling for me to see the shot placement EXACTLY where I was pointing.

I run a Wilson and the last time at the range the center of the target was pretty gone so I started picking the 12 and 3 o'clock points and nailed them with ease. Very pleased with their barrels.

I put a Wilson into my M&P with accuracy problems and I saw little if any difference. It did allow me to get into CO division though. I finally fit an Apex SDI barrel and that cured the problems I was having.

For the small difference in price and the small investment in time it takes to fit it I would never put a drop in barrel into an M&P. Your mileage may vary.
