Changed silver to a more understated gray.

Non acetone finger nail polish remover
Fingernail polish color of choice, testors enamel paint, white out, or crayon.
Rubbing alcohol (91%) is the best. You may have to go to drug store to get it, wally world only has lesser %

Clean the area to be painted with the rubbing alcohol to remove any grease or oil. Let dry. Or used canned or compressed air to help it along.

Paint a square around the logo or lettering you want to color fill. Let dry. Use a damp (not wet) paper towel or cleaning patch of non-acetone fingernail polish remover to gently wipe away the paint that is above the etched lettering/logo.

What remains is the paint inside the lettering/logo. If the area around the area seems a bit foggy after you remove the excess paint, get a patch with some RemOil or other gun oil and polish it up.

Rem oil or most any gun cleaner will effect it. I found that white out lasts the longest for me. Pentel Presto is the brand, fine point, has like a pen nib on the end.

Here is my 40FS with white out.

If you mess up, just rub it all off and try again. You will find your "touch" as you do it a few times.

I painted the roll marks white on my 9mm, but i removed it after a while. It gets dirty and the paint comes out after a good bit of use. I shoot my guns too much to keep them painted and looking pretty. They're tools.

I did both of mine in white sorry no pics to much of pan to post with this computer. I have put about nine hundred rounds threw each one since painting with testors paint and cleaned them one with seal1 clp the other with mp7 pro or whatever it is and the paint is still white as hell. No signs of peeling or dulling. Last cleaning i used a little nylon brush and scrubbed the white and it stayed. I guess if it does start fading it will be gone for good. The gold looks good i tried it and could never get it to look good

Just did this last night, put about 4 coats of nail lacquer on til you couldn't see the indent from the letters anymore and then gently wiped off with non-acetone polish remover.

Here is my PC Shield

I went with Gray (at least for now). I used nail polish, pretty cheap and lots of color choices.
