That anyone would consider that a worthwile modification is bizarre to me. Then again, mine isn't the opinion that counts.

What kind of paint did you use, and how is it holding up to daily carry and training classes/range time.

I wouldn't be my cup of tea either, but a very nice job, good work. Even Ice Cream comes in many flavors.

You're on an M&P forum and saying a Shield is "like a broken down impala" ?

Kind of like walking into a Black lives matter meeting wearing a KKK hood...now that's WTFWTIT.

Though I am a black gun guy who favors no highlights, I commend you on your commitment to remembrance of 9-11. I knew the son of one of the people that went down on United 93 when they fought back.

Just a thought, you have three areas of paint detail and it was a time when we all pulled together no matter what party one leaned toward. It was a very patriotic time.

Three areas of paint highlights, Red, White and Blue?

Just a thought.

Please forgive me for not checking to see you werent the OP.
My original hoopty reference was aimed at the painting of the gun not the gun.

I guess I just fail to grasp the point of dolling up a carry weapon.
I mean unless your a "hey look at my gun" type to everyone you know or meet who really sees it and what use does it serve.

I know to each there own.

"To me kinda like a broken down impala with 3k worth of wheels and tires on it. "

In the post I replied to you talked about "3k worth of wheels and tires" which would have to be the color fill, on "a broken down impala" so you see where someone might interpret it as I did.

Moreover I thought you were harsh towards another members gun, and a tribute to 9/11. Just my opinion, I'm new here so I have no idea what kind of forum, they want to have here.

Goes to the "if you wont like the answer dont ask the question"
He posted it on a public forum. Not everyone will agree
I could have used a better comparison. My bad
