I can only comment on the AZooms, as that's all I've used. They're good enough for what I need, which is protection of the striker during dry-fire. With the M&P, which has a more rounded striking surface, the primer in the AZoom will last for quite a long time. The chamber of the M&P's barrel rubs away the finish of the AZoom, but I don't consider that an issue as it still functions for dry-firing.
I'm still using the original pack of 5 that I bought over a year ago. Each snap-cap has seen thousands of dry-fires. The ones I've run through my Glock 19 have primers that have been chewed away (but are still effective in slowing/stopping the striker). The one I've kept in my M&P has a primer that is still functional.

Same here. I'm not familiar with Tipton's snap caps but I only use Azoom since they do the job and I have never had problems with them, which is more than I can say about other brands I've used.
