Custom Carry Concepts

Custom holster that CCC was able to make for me. The entire holster is made from a single continuous piece of kydex. This eliminates a weak spot with many kydex holster, which use flexible clips that can break.

DeSantis

My MP 9c in a DeSantis Speed holster ordered from S & W, with a S & W, M & P logo. My fullsized MP 40 fits in it also with just a little of the barrel sticking out. Total cost including purchase price, state tax and shipping was $75.51. It fits nice and snug for easy concealment.

If anyone comes across a muzzle forward low riding holster please post any info possible. It would be for concealing a M&Pc 9mm. Thanks

Thought I'd add www.southernholsters.com to the list. Just got mine yesterday. This is their IWB "Memphis" model with the Sharkskin upgrade.

I just found my ideal holster!!

I'm about to buy and M&P. I have to admit that the general lack of accessories available during the first 12-18 months was an annoyance to me. That doesn't appear to be an issue these days.

One site I don't see listed on here is FIST holsters. I've never owned one but I worked with a guy in Afghanistan who had one and was impressed by the durability and lack of bulk. He had a Kydex model, which I prefer over leather as well.

While FIST was my front-runner, I just went to Comp-Tac's website as listed on here. Their new Minotaur leather/kydex hybrid is "The Heat!". I prefer a belt kydex so I know that I'll be getting one of these! I can't do IWB holsters...most of my pants are too tight and my hips are too bony to deal with that gun metal pushing on them. Also, I find that even some leather belt holsters (like my Don Hume H721 that I have for my Beretta 96) dig into my hip unless they are well designed outward relief holsters with a smooth inside (why I prefer kydex...not to mention the durability to abuse and sweat). The design of this holster is superb IMO, as it combines the luxury of leather with the functionality and fit of kydex. The fact that it snaps on the belt loop is also a bonus making it easier to remove when you need to go into one of those places that, annoyingly, you can't legally carry in. Finally, you can buy multiple kydex fronts so you can use the same holster for multiple weapons...common platform is always a bonus...my Army training has taught me that much! Has anyone used one of these yet? Is it as good as it appears?

What does the back of this holster look like? Anyone else carry one of these? This was another option I was looking at...if I were to try a leather holster.

D.M. Bullard Leather Mfg. carries some nice holsters in stock. Just ordered a "Undercover" OWB for my compact.

My question is has anyone experienced a speed holster that you can use during competition. I like the CR Speed accessories, but have yet to find a speed holster for my M&P.

Anyone?

I just ordered my UBG Striker I for my new M&P 357.

Will post up some pics when it finally comes.

It should be perfectly timed with my PA CCW permit!
