ameriglo hack vs I-dot

Greetings all. I've been creeping on here for a while but this is my first post. I'm currently running a set of ameriglo hacks on my m&p vtac (I really didn't care at all for the vtac sights) and I really like them but have been intrigued by the I dots as of late. I'm about to install an apex fss this week and thought I might change over to the I dot sights since I've gotta remove the rear sight anyway. First I'd like to know from those of you who have tried both which do you prefer? Second, I'd like to know if I can just change rear sights or if I need to purchase the set (as I'm unsure if they are the same height)? Thanks in advance!

I prefer Ameriglo I-Dot Pro. Ever since switching to the two-dot version, my groups have been tighter and I can acquire sight picture faster, light or dark.

I believe the front sights are different heights between the two you list. They were for my G19 anyway.

night sights

I took the factory sights off and installed the ameriglo I dot night sights. I love them. They are faster to aquire your target.

You can measure them if you have calipers. If you don't have calipers, I would just email Ameriglo and ask. They have been responsive in the past when I used to use Ameriglo sights. Also, they always had coupon codes online that would work so don't pay full price if you can avoid it!
