This is a discussion on Amerigun USA baseplate for DeltaPoint Pro within the MP Pistol Accessories forums, part of the Smith & Wesson MP Forum category; Does anyone have any experience with this? More specifically, do the stock irons on the CORE co-witness with this configuration? Thanks in advance.. -Kyle...

As I understand it that system uses the dovetail for the rear sight to mount the red dot, this puts it further out of alignment with the rear sights. The CORE mounts down below the level of the slide, a substantial advantage over the Amerigun mount.

Whether your red dot co witnesses with the rear sight depends on the particular red dot you choose when using the CORE mounts that come with the pistol.

I was under the same impression about the mount being a rear sight slot mount but after I called Leupold directly they guided me to Amerigun where I spoke to their customer service today and they do now offer a "plate" to accept the DeltaPoint Pro for $80+shipping. She told me there isn't a picture on their website but there is on their FB page, so I went a looked, it's really hard to tell if they co-witness.

I can't understand why anyone would want to buy a plate, when S&W includes adapter plates with the pistol?

That's the entire issue. The DeltaPoint Pro, unlike the original DeltaPoint don't fit any of those adapter plates. Kind of a massive oversight by Leupold if you ask me.

The adapter plates that come with the pistol do not fit the Deltapoint Pro.
