No experience with the revolution. I have a couple of the Ventcore and I like them a lot. One of the things I like about the ventcore is the padding on the body side, which has been eliminated on the revolution. Again no experience, but I would spend the extra $$ for the ventcore, if I were to buy a new Stealthgear.

Take Steve`s advice, the ventcore is the better holster.

Thanks for the input but i went ahead and order a revolution seems to be alot better holster than the single clip keyhole brand holster i had i really like the 2 clips over the single clip put it on my belt and it stays put no wiggle to it unlike the single clip and as far as the backer on the revolution tome I would compair the feel to a leather backer im pretty satisfied with my purchase heck i only have 2 holsters so far i think my next holster purchase will be a owb for my shield but like i said befor thanks for the input on my question.

Good to hear the revolution is a good alternative. I'm with you on the "hybrid" style with the 2 clips...I hate the wobble when I'm moving about.

Most important glad you like it

If you're in a pinch and need a wider selection you may like the Alien Gear also...wide selection, and good price...awesome customer service.

Gentleman Jim

I have four of the Ventcore including a mini great holsters. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I just got my Ventcore from them for my new shield and absolutely love it, haven't had it long enough for a review but first impressions are what counts.

I have the ventcore for both my shield and 3" 1911's and the revolution for my sig p320. Where as I like the revolution I don't think it's nearly as comfortable for all day wear as my ventcore holsters.

It's the only brand of holster I use after trying many and putting the other ones in the I'll never use it holster box.

same here I have 3 firearms I EDC (rotate them per weather and seasonal clothing changes)
I have a Mini IWB for each one and a Flex OWB for each one.
I wish I could just carry with the Flex all year round as I find this holster the best out of any I've tried so far.

kmanic, if you don't mind and when you have a minute could I get you to measure the width & height of your Mini IWB? I've been eyeing the Mini for my Shield and am curious if it is smaller than my Safariland/Bianchi Model 135's footprint.

Thanks!
