adjustable sights for MP CORE?

Just got a 5" CORE, and while I like it the sights aren't working my pet load.

Off a rest, at 25-yards, I'm shooting about 7" high.

While it's a piece of cake to set my red dot, I like to have the irons shoot to point of aim...

Have any of you swapped out the standard sights for something adjustable?

Can you tell me what worked? Or what didn't work?

Thanks!

Welcome to our little corner of the net! My full size and Shield shot right to point of aim on open sights, I can't say that I ever even shot my CORE on open sights. There are adjustable sights available for the M&P, but I've never heard of any company offering adjustable HIGH RISE sights.

You sure it is the sights that are the problem..???
Have you had others shoot it to see how it hits for them...??? I`d rule that out first if it were me.

Well... while I'm certainly no stranger to operator error, I think I eliminated most of the variables.

I was shooting on a rest, and found that for three 10-rd strings (ladder testing some loads) every group was high and left.

My red dot's battery was dead, so I'm going to need to sight it in on another day. I'll check again how the sight picture and poi match up...

That all being said, I think I might just need a new front sight blade. Dawson has a pretty nifty sight calculator that may have just solved it for me.

Thanks~!

Not a great photo but here's mine. The screws weren't in place in these photos, I was playing with some things and happened to take photos at that time.
