Lots of stoppages

My M&P pro5" in 9mm is not functioning well.
Shot it at club shoot yesterday every 4th 5th round would cause a jam of some sort. I swapped ammo with a mate at club as my reloads went ok in his pistol & problem disappeared.

Gun is very new less than 250 rounds

I guess question is my reloads were 0.050" longer than his, would/could this be my problem? My reloads fit in magazine ok & drop tested in barrel ok.

A gun that does not function well is not fun at all, unless its a CZ (then I can have a laugh)

Perhaps your loads are a bit on the light side, since they'd function OK in a used pistol, but not a new one (stronger springs that haven't taken their set yet).

Most likely a combination of new mag springs and new recoil springs.

Question is how do factory loads run?

You'll want to adjust the power load also, or you might be back with much bigger problems than just jamming.

I have adjusted the OAL to 28.7 mm& test fired. Got a couple of jams (2)but way better.

Shot club match on sat just gone, function seems to good with just the shorter OAL. No stoppages on Saturday.
I have also lowered the powder charge slightly, not over chrono so don't know PF

Club champs next weekend!!!!!!

Hey KR what do you mean about adjusting the load? adjust up (more power) or down (less power)
