9mm shield 7 round mag spring looks bent

I dissasembled my 7 round mag to clean it today. I have been carying it for a couple of years and i have never done that. It was quite dirty as you would expect, but i noticed the spring was shaped a bit like a banana. The 8 round mag spring was nice and straight. Although i really haven't noticed any feeding issues I was concerned. That doesn't seem normal to me. Should i replace the mag? I currently carry this gun for seld defense.

I recently replaced my 7rd mag innards with a MagGuts kit that gives me 8 round capacity. Anyway, here are the innards side-by-side. My stock 7rd mag spring was straight.

That said, I don't think it's a problem.

Love the idea of increased capacity but worry about reliably. Have you noticed any difference with feeding? Would you say it feels like the same amount of spring tension?

Several members have installed MagGuts and are 100% confident.

I have tested them and use them in my carry mags.
