OP - What trigger are you using? How has the RMR changed your function vs irons? With the RMR, are the top slide mods needed? Who did your stippling?

I'm considering sending an M&P to ATEI over the winter for some of the mods you already have & trying to decide if they are functional or just look good and aren't worth the money to someone looking to use it in a non war-zone / LEO capacity.

I love seeing pistols used the way the they supposed to be. It gets old looking at pictures that people post where the gun looks the same it did the day it was purchased.

Looks like you had some fun.

Im using the Apex DCAEK + Apex aluminum trigger shoe + (if it matters) Apex failure resistant extractor. I love how the entire project turned out. RMR runs just as good as it did brand new, and i recently picked up another RMR RM07. Now i need a gun to put it on. I think extremely highly of RMR guns IF you take the tie to learn how to use it. There is a curve, no doubt about it.
I do not think that the serration on the top are necessary if you have the rmr, but if the gun can be cycled anywhere the slide contacts, then its one less hit to the RMR. I do not believe RMR's are invincible. Everything has a failure point. The serrations do look excellent though > lol
