A good start

Hi All: Took my brand new (but carefully cleaned) Shield to my range today. The good, 120 rounds of perfecta and PMC FMJ 115 gr )PMC much better than perfecta as far as accuracy goes. The bad I pulled some shots because the trigger is new to me, and I anticipated the recoil (I am used to a glock 42 which is known to be a real light recoil pistol. However, all shots were taken at 10 yards and all shots were in 6" circles with the exception of 8 fliers all of which were one hand shots . A great day with a peach of a pistol. sorry I forgot to get my target.

Congrats on your new Shield. I got one just a month ago or so. These things are scary accurate if we, the shooter do our job. Thursday on my way home I stopped at my range and ran just one mag...8 rounds thru mine. I was testing a new SD load I had worked up. 7 of the 8 shots were in a 1.5 inch group at 10 yards. The first shot was an inch high...my fault period. I'm very happy with my Shield.

Good news! Flinching is easily fixed! Focus on your front sight, 2 second trigger pull, dry fire the HELL out of it... seriously, dry fire 30 minutes a day. Your next live fire session, you should impress yourself.
