Those LE versions are expensive as heck mine came with 2 15 rnd mag total $469.99 M&P .40 FS purchased April '07.
I didn't think $510 was bad for 3 mags, night sights and shipped to my FFL in Feb of this year, especially since a local dealer wanted $200+ more for same gun .

That is a great price as Bud's Gun Shop has them for $535.00.

Good luck getting an M&P with an "LE" SKU from a dealer without the proper credentials.

There were a good number of us who got steals off of gunbroker.com from "tanner." M&P357 FS with night sights and two normal capacity mags (15 round) for $350 muahahahaha! Some LE models come with two mags.

Correct, standard models come with 2 mags while LE models come with 3 mags.

As a reminder to many who look in these threads for the magic bullet of pricing - Buds Gun Shop (my favorite) has a Law Enforcement arm which is called Budspolicesupply.com. You can find this via the "LE" hyperlink on the Buds internet site. Once you are verified as a LEO or military or other first responder, you will then be able to purchase with LEO prices.

This will save you HUNDREDS of dollars vs what Buds sells on their regular site. However, comma, you are only going to get a segment of their guns rather than the big selection on the regular sight. Makes sense to me. Just bought 3 guns from them: M&Pc 9mm ( $455 with night sights and 3 mags delivered), M&Pc .45 ($499 with night sights and 3 mags delivered) and a Kahr CM9 ($368 delivered).

Hope this helps those who qualify for discount pricing...enjoy those discounts and thank you for what you do!!!

I got the 9c for my wife and myself from Code 4 LLC. They sell to non LE as well. Currently the 9, 357's and 40' FS and C are $525 with 3 mags and night sights. The 45's are $570 with 3 mags and night sights but I know he is out of 45's with his next order being shipped on the 29th of May. Mike will take pre-order if you want him to hold one for you. The pros in 9 and 40 are $540 with some models coming with fiber optic and others with night sights. They all come without frame or mag safty but he can order what you want. M&P pages- 40's and 357 at bottom of first page 45's, 9's and pros on second page.

link http://code4lesales.com/cgi-bin/list...um=2&pagenum=1

The home page link for Code 4 LLC is http://code4lesales.com/

Mike is a great guy to work with. When I told my old partner who is now a detective with Salt Lake Unified PD that I was looking for a couple new weapons he referred me to Mike at Code 4. They have worked out very well for me. I know Code 4 works in the western state but if your back east you might want to ask about that when you contact them.

The real answer to the original question is: "As many as you are willing to pay for".

When I order a pistol I also order extra Mags. I typicaly order 5 for the games and 2 for carry therefore specify 7 total.

My Compact 9 came with two, one with the pinky finger extension, the other without. Got my full size in the Range Kit. Three hi-cap mags came with it.
