I've gone though a bottle already. Good cleaner, but too thin as a lube. I won't be buying another bottle.

I tried it in hopes it would remove lead better than other stuff. It didn't do much better. Once I found out about 50/50 mix of vinegar and Hydrogen peroxide I no longer need it. I now soak the barrel 5 minutes in the V/H mix followed by a soap and water rinse then light application of Hoppes 9.

I have been using Gunzilla for about 2 yrs and have been pleased with the results. It cleans and lubricates with no smell nor harsh chemicals which means you can use it anywhere. I use weapon shield for lubricating the slide areas and the barrel, but if you clean after each range outing(mine are 100-200 down range) Gunzilla seems to lubricate enough to operate all the functions of a semi properly. Will it do better than some others on the market, maybe not, but in an all around cleaner and lubricant it is hard to beat. zorro49

But can you use it as aftershave like Hoppe's Number 9?

I tried it, still don't like it as a lube, so my search continues for a good lube, not lube/cleaner

I continue to vote for Breakfree CLP. I have used it on everything from scissors to bulldozers.

If it is the old BreakFree from the 1980's, yeah, that is good stuff. It has changed formulas at least twice and they took all the good stuff out (thanks EPA) and it is now, just...meh.

If you get the BreakFree that the military issues (with the white printing and the MIL number on it) that is pretty good, but still not as good as Hoppe's #9 solvent.

Anyone ever try S&W cleaners and lube? It's seems to work fine for me but I haven't done any comparing.
