Ok so I'm new at this so don't give me a hard time if I do it wrong. I was reading in previous topics in the ladies lounge that it was possible that S&W would be producing and selling the pink Julie Goloski backstrap seperate from the actual pistol. I have been looking everywhere and cannot find anyone who is selling them, not even ebay. The topic stream that I found was from 2008 so I figured by now they would be sold all over the internet. One guy said he was going to paint one, but I don't want it to interfere with my grip. Does anyone know where I can find one? I would love to find one that I can purchase and still have the proceeds go to breast cancer awareness. I want one so bad but I can't afford to buy the whole new gun just for the pink backstrap! Cheers

Somewhat off topic....

Maybe S&W could add a few more colors for some of the other cancers

Clear - Lung Cancer is the deadliest for both sexes.

Sky Blue - Prostate: highest cancer incident for men, second deadliest.

Yeah, it seems great cancer research gets a lot of support and talk when lung cancer get's often overlooked in favor of great cancer. My aunt is about to pass away from lung cancer, she's never smoked a cigarette in her life and never been in a smoking home. Total bummer.

I think breast cancer does as well as it does, well, for obvious reasons... The current culture we live in... breasts.... yeah.

design master paint

really great stuff to use on every type nylon/plastic {most fabric stores will carry it} I use it on 1/2, 3/4 and 1&3/4 oz. ripstop fabric that gets expose to harmful environment salt & sand and prolong UV's ...so much so that it last longer than factory dies pigments .....

I just picked up OD green.... if I get a chance today I'll shoot a extra tan back strap I have or take my time and do a camo theme

Might I ask, did you start with a black or a tan backstrap? I'm thinking it would be easier to paint/coat the lighter colored tan than it would be the black?
