COL is entirely a gun chamber/bullet issue and there is no "normal" COL.
For my CZ,
90gn Gold Dots are loaded to 1.063"
Lee 105gn L-SWCs are loaded to 1.075"
MB 115gn L-SWCs are loaded to 1.117"
MG 115 CMJs are loaded to 1.135"
MG 115gn JHPs are loaded to 1.105"
Rainier P-RN are loaded to 1.160"
Speer 124gn GDs are loaded to 1.140"
Speer 147gn GDs are loaded to 1.155"
It all depends on the COL where the ogive hits the lede/rifling, and reduce somewhat so no cartridge hits the lede. You can "hand wave" a COL of 1.100" being more-or-less "universal" for 9x19 in many guns with many bullets.
OP: we can all assume you are loading 9x19 (9mm Luger), but I did not see that in your post.
