Redneck Brass Tumbler
I got my Guntap SSTL media today... Still dont have a tumbler, so I cabbaged up something to work until I have the dime to get a REAL one, results were still impressive!
2 or 3 drops of Dawn, 1/3 teaspoon (9mm case) of Lemi Shine, hot water, tumble time is about 1 hour..
Cant wait to get a REAL tumbler!!!

Its generally considered a good idea to deprime before wet cleaning, water can be trapped in the primer pocket, mix with some of the residues there and corrode the primer, causing the bottom to punch out when you try to deprime them later. If the bottom punches out leaving the sides in place, its virtually impossible to remove the sides left in the primer pocket, so you end up with scrap. Doesn't always happen, but it has happened to me, and let me tell you it hurts to lose a piece of brass.
