This is a discussion on Have a M&P looking for a revolver within the MP Revolvers forums, part of the Smith & Wesson MP Forum category; Is a small semi-auto out of the question?? Kahr makes very small fairly high-cap 9mm , 40 , and 45 semi-auto's. http://www.kahr.com/PA-1_9mm_mk.html...

thought about that. (small Auto loaders) I want a revolver just to have one. I like the thought of them. Love my 9 but I want to explore everything.

The Kahr K9 is the smallest 9mm that I can shoot effectively. It's weight helps dampen recoil, yet is more aggravating to carry. It is a tack driver, but has a very long trigger pull. Good sights and points naturally if your used to an M&P. One more draw back is magazine capacity, but if your considering a j frame this should not be important to you. Also the single stack spare mag is forgotten in the offside pocket. Put on a set of ctc grips and you would have the perfect ccw in my opinion.
