S&W Military and Police Magnum

I traded one of my snubbies for this pristine, never fired Model 13-3 a couple of days ago:

I thought some of my fellow "old guys" here might get a kick out of it.

Take care all,

Love me some 4" K-frame. First magnum revolver I ever fired was a friend's four-inch model 13, back in the 70's sometime.

There's something just "right" about a medium-frame revolver with a medium-length barrel; whether K- or L-frame either one. I even still have an old, heavy-barrel 4" Taurus that I've only kept because it's so much like a smith.

Thanks y'all!

I knew there'd be a few on here that would know what they were looking at; not too many of the '13's around.

I'm just about to have Herrett's make a set of fancy walnut stocks for it, and am looking at having a fancy custom holster made too.

I haven't decided if I'll shoot it; but it'll definitely be doing BBQ duty.
