Model 60 Pro Series

Howdy Gang!

I've been gone for awhile, but I'm back to ask a question. Anyone have a Model 60 Pro Series J-frame? I have a serious jones for one. I've been getting into revolvers over the past 6 months after my best shooting buddy passed away and left me his Model 637 Airweight.

Dan had put the Apex spring kit in the gun which makes it an awesome shooter. I've been carrying it on occasion, in rotation with my Shield. Anyway, I saw an article on the Model 60, did a little research and found out about the Pro Series model and now I'm smitten. Anybody have one? How do you like it? Do you carry it? If so, what kind of holster? Inquiring minds, (mine), want to know all about it. Thanks in advance! G56, if this is the wrong sub-forum please feel free to move the post.

I don't have one, but I've lusted after a couple at the LGS.

Unfortunately, they were all three inch barreled ones.

After going through absolute hell trying to find a holster for a three inch Talo J-frame that I bought a few years ago; I abstained.

Here's my early Model 60:

Fully engraved, complete with wide smooth trigger, bobbed serrated hammer, and action job; $300.00 cash OTD.

When I was cleaning it; I found that it even had my name engraved on the back strap.

It just don't get no better than that!

Very nice Rick! Thanks for the pics. The engraving is nice! I thought any holster for a 2" j-frame that had an open bottom would work for a 3" j-frame also. Am I wrong?
