I have had mine for a few months now. It is so much fun to shoot, I ended up buying its "big brother" the M&P AR 15 VTACH II. My 15-22 also eats Remington Golden bullets, no problems. It was sighted in at yards (red dot) but I changed that because we have a skunk problem and it needed to be re zeroed. I hope to "tag" some skunks tonight or tomorrow night. Love my 15-22. It is a blast to shoot and it is a great way to be introduced to AR's IMO.

M&P 15-22

I have owned one for 2 years and it's undergone many changes, from the CNC trigger to the bumpfire stock and a reverse muzzle break. I have a decent scope on it and it shoots very well out to 75 yds. After that it falls off a bit. After 100, it's useless, but I still take it to the range often. You can't beat the enjoyment per shot, per dollar formula.

And it's FUN.

First I bought the S&W AR15. Really liked it. The their AR10 and finally Smiths AR15-22. Excellent weapons. Definitely sold on S&W line.

Love the gun but I did have a number of stovepipes. For $10 I got a Volquartsen extractor. Have'nt had one since! Why S&W doesn't have a better extractor is a mystery to me. And my M&P is only 6 weeks old!
