M&P Sport Red Dot Setup

What is a good red dot setup for the sport with the factory front post? I would like the dot to be above the front post. I want a 2 to 4 moa dot. I would also like to stay under $250.00 but have some flexibility. Thanks.

I was thinking about the Vortex strikefire II. I would like to know if I can get a 1/3 cowit
ness with the cantilever mount that I think comes with it.

Votex Sparc II... You can set it up absolute co-witness/lower 1/3. The mount is included

I went with a Vortex optic as well, except I decided on the Spitfire 3X. I liked the fact it had a etched reticle so if the batteries did die I can still use it. Sadly I haven't had a chance to sight it in yet.

+1 on that Bushnell! I like my AR to be as fast and light weight as possible and this optic is a huge "bang for the buck" buy. It also perfectly cowitnesses with my irons in case of a battery/optic failure.

I went with a TRS-32 for now. I may ad a compact scope later. The TRS-32 is marked way down on Amazon right now. At the lower settings, The dot looks smaller than 5moa to me.
