Appleseed events ban M&P 15-22, out of battery discharge and run away issues
I just got one about 6 months ago because of all the good things being said. I hope if there is a problem S&W fixes it Quickly. Haven't event shot it yet because things got stupid busy around here. I need to get out before we get our 18 plus inches of snow cause the range road won't get plowed.

I'm not sure what you mean by the phrase, but even with the bumpfire stock on mine, it doesn't runaway. I'm curious as to your meaning.

I'm not sure about the design of the 15-22, but an AR-15 cannot fire out of battery, if the bolt isn't forward and locked the firing pin can't reach the primer, my personal AR-15 which is a CMMG that I got before S&W even got into the AR business, I don't believe it would be capable of firing out of battery, I would assume the S&W would be the same.
As far as a runaway, that's usually caused by a stuck firing pin or someone dicking around with the hammer and sear that doesn't know what they are doing.
