I originally wanted a Shield but they weren't available in Ca. I "settled" for a 9c since my LGS had one in stock. After seeing the load indicator solution to getting the Shield on the Ca. handgun roster, I'm really glad I went with the compact. I really love the feel and function of my 9c. As it turns out, It was a better purchase for me than the Shield, even without that silly load indicator. |

| Yes, I do. The only advantage the Shield would have for me is that it might be easier to conceal. Since I can conceal the 9c just fine, it holds more rounds, and the wider grip fits my hand perfectly, I can safely say that I prefer the 9c over the Shield.
