Tru Glo TFO

Has anyone been able to contact TruGlo to see if they are going to produce a TFO sight for the Shield? I sent them an email but have not got a reply yet. I have these on my Glock and love them. I really want a set for my Shield but dont like the overhang of the full sized set.

I sent them an email yesterday and got a response almost immediately. They basically said they were looking into the matter (referencing the Shield). He also mentioned about the over-hang on the slide. He mentioned they would have to "certify" a set before they would have something new. Personal note: I don't think the little over-hang is all that bad myself and will probably order myself a set using TFO model TG131MPT. Best price I've located so far with at Botach Tactical for just under $80.

I just posted this in another thread here on these forms:

Quote:
Since I've owned TFO thought I could give you my impressions...

1. They are awesome when it comes to sight picture acquisition.
2. They work day or night - some of the brightest sights I've used.
3. They don't last long - mine failed after less than a year on my G23c, round count give or take ~1000. Granted, my Glock is compensated and as such gasses blow pretty darn close to the front sight.

They are a little more expensive, but then again the argument could be made that a mature shooter could afford to pay for them a little easier and more often than a lest financially established individual could. I elected to go with different replacements this time around... Trijicon HD™ Night Sights this time around.
