Hello all, new to the forum and wanted to pass this on. I just picked up 2 new Shields for $449 ea. They had 5 left at 12:00. Google, Center Target Sports in Post Falls Idaho. Fantastic range and people. Go get em!

Ya I was pretty surprised when I called and found out they just got some in. I was looking to pick one up for my wife, but couldn't resist one for myself. So now I gotta decide between the shield or my trusty PM9. Can't afford to keep em both, damn.

And I cant say enought about Center Target Sports, awsome staff, top notch, and a life time warranty when you purchase a pistol from them.

Funny, but I had been looking for a Shield for 6 months. I finally gave up and went to Center Target Sports to pick up a LC9 last night. While we're starting the paper work, Ed comes out and says "We have Shields". My buddy and I scored the first two!

Put about 70 rounds through it today, sweet little gun!

Oh, and I think they had 12 of them last night...going fast!

Choppedsled, did you get the 9 or the 40?

I picked up two of the 9mm's. They told me they received 10 total, and sold 2, must have been you guys. I sent a couple of other guys over today as well, most likely sold out now.

Really is a small world.

Center Target is a great place to shoot too. My shooting partner/trainer and I use to go there every Thursday when there's snow on the ground. Ed really helped me out a few years ago, selflessly teaching me everything I needed to know to get started right. His was voted best range in the country by SHOT magazine, and it really is the best.

Here he is doing a Pro Ears commercial:

If either of you guys needs some help with your M&P pistols, PM me and I'll be glad to do what I can.

I was thinking the same thing!

I've taken Ed's Utah CCW course and really enjoyed it. I hope to take some more classes this winter.

I've done quite a few of his training courses, some he only offers once a year, but once you pay for a class you can retake it as often as you like. On Dec. 7th he's doing a S&W pistol owners orientation class that will be free for you guys. It's pretty basic, but it's free. In fact they do quite a few free classes.

On his "Our Faculty" web page, that's me in lane 2 with one of my disabled clients in lane 3, we're still working on that grip.

Lane 2 is lucky for me. It was in this lane I took my first 3 shots with my very first pistol, they formed a little Mickey Mouse at 10 yards. Management thought that showed some promise.

Already have the Dec 7 course on the calendar! Looking forward to it.

BTW, my buddy went back and bought a .40, only 3 left now.

I doubt I could make a target look like Mickey, but I'm sure it would look Goofy when I was done!

I've never really taken a class anywhere, but am looking forward to one soon. My wife's new to shooting and I want to get her started right.

The LGS that I frequent just got a number of 9mm Shields in stock. They said they've sold a number already but still have several left. When you click on the pic of the Shield on their homepage is just takes you to their weekly flyer...no shields in the ad. You will have to call. I bought my Shield through them a couple of months ago...totally dig it! Good luck!

That price is available from Buds police supply site, if they have them in stock, if you meet the requirements, which is not only for active or retired LEO.
