New Shield -- which night sights?

****NOW WITH PICS SEE POST #10 BELOW****

Just was notified my Shield 9mm from Atlantic Tactical shipped to my FFL ($349.95 +$20 FFL fee). I need to get some night sights. I have regular green vial Trijicon's on all my other pistols. I see that the new Trijicon HD came out within the last year or so and many folks seem to like them. Want to do this poll to see what the Shield community thinks is the best option available at this time. Application is as a CCW primary.

Thanks,
Cal

I like these...typically a little cheaper, and they use Trijicon tubes.

AmeriGlo Weapon Sights | Night Sights

Complete Sets -> Pro-dot or I-dot
Similar to the XS Big Dot in front and works great in the day time.

Edited: doesn't look like they make the Pro-dot for the Shield yet.

I went with the Trijicon HD's with yellow front sight. $125 at Botach.

I must've missed the one for the Shield. I see one for the full size, though. Can you tell me which model it is?

Most full size sights fit into the Shield's dovetail. My TFO rear sights extend beyond the dovetail a tiny bit, but it's not likely to catch on anything. BTW, it's easy enough to remove the offending material with a medium stone, although a fine metal working file would probably work if that's all you had.

That's what I did when I swapped my stock Shield sights out for a set of like new M&P Night Sights that I got for a good price. It worked fine and presents the same sight picture as my other M&Ps. A little blackening of the worked edges makes it look almost like factory.

Pics of the Trijicon HD (SA137Y, $125.95 @ Botach) installed...did it at home with a generic sight pusher. Old ones came out easy with a steel punch and 16oz hammer (I didn't give a shit about them so I just beat them out with a couple solid wacks)

Bump for updated poll.

Seeing as there are more out there and some time for more people to acquire them. Still debating on which ones I want to get.

XS

Take a look at the Big Dot. No sight acquires a target faster.
